Stetsasonic appeared as special guests on a bill headlined by Boogie Down Productions alongside Mikey D & The L.A. Posse and The Ultimate Choice, capturing a genuine cross-section of the New York hip-hop underground at a pivotal moment in the genre's development. The second flyer, dated May 2, 1986, advertises a live Stetsasonic performance at the Sheraton Hotel in Middletown, New York. Hand-lettered and locally produced, it reflects the grassroots nature of hip-hop live performance before the genre's major-label package tours took hold.
